PS 46 celebrates its staff

On Friday, June 25, PS 46 hosted a Staff Appreciation assembly in which we thanked all of the hard working staff in our school for working through the challenges of the year with a smile on their face. Awards and trophies were presented to our cafeteria workers, custodians, safety agents, service providers, para-professionals and teachers. We also played some fun games such as Cookie Face where staff members had to place an Oreo cookie on their head and get it into their mouth without using their hands. Everyone enjoyed coming together to celebrate the hard work and community our staff created this year.

We look forward to seeing everyone for the 2021-2022 school year!

ps 46 celebrates our graduates!

PS 46 celebrated its first outdoor graduation ceremonies on June 17th, 2021. Families sat under the cool shade of tents as children in Pre-K, Kindergarten, and 5th Grade sang for their parents and received awards for outstanding achievement. Families heard from Ms. Guzman, Mr. Braverman, Ms. Anderson and guest speakers Superintendent Samuels and Dr. Victor Ramsey. We also had the pleasure of hearing speeches from our two salutatorians and valedictorians. Everyone enjoyed seeing the growth in all of our students and continued to celebrate afterwards by taking pictures with staff members.

On behalf of PS 46, we wish all of you a wonderful Summer full of continued growth. We look forward to seeing all of you again in September!

PS 46 Talent Show

The talented students and staff at PS 46 participated in an incredible talent show on 5/28/21. Our school members amazing talents such as singing, dancing, sign language, dog training, drawing, and noise making. The event was created by the Student Government after a student suggested it to them. A big kudos to our Student Government members and our teachers for supporting students in recording their videos. And of course, a big kudos to our students who are even more talented than we ever could have known!
